Colson Kelly (aka Machine Gun Kelly), is a rap artist who is known for his unique style. Baker was born in Houston in Texas on April 22, 1990 into a German as well as an English Scottish family. The parents of the Bakers were missionaries and throughout his childhood, the couple traveled a lot together his parents. His dad James Colson Baker struggled with depression and unemployed while the mother Sonia Alane left them when the age of nine. Baker went to Denver together with his father and stayed there for a time. Others in the community had a tendency to bully Baker for being poor. In the sixth grade, Baker began listening to rap. Colson Baker is also referred to as Machine Gun Kelly was born on the 22nd of April, 1990 in Texas the U.S. His music is well-known for his mix of modern hip hop and alternative rock. Baker released four mixtapes during 2007- the year 2010 prior to signing with Bad Boy Records. In late 2011, this Cleveland rapper soared to fame in the process of transitioning to self-releasing his mixtapes to signing with respected labels. Then his career exploded with every one of his albums charting in the top 10.
